Fridays are great days, aren’t they? They are filled with all of the hopes of the weekend in mind and the carelessness of what you are supposed to be doing at work. Fridays are going to be fun days here as well. Friday is Movie Night!!! And that means that I will watch movies, dissect them, and tell you what is actually being said between the lines.

I will begin with a parental overview. What do you, as a Christian parent, need to know about this movie? There will be no spoilers during this portion of the review to allow people to get some understanding of what concerning content is in store for their children, or themselves such as the case may be.

We will move from there to my opinion of the movie. Was is it good? This will take into account quality of production, acting, and anything else we might lump in. No spoilers here, either, as this will serve as my recommendation either to view or not view the movie.

Next, worldview analysis. This is where the meat will come. What is this movie’s worldview? Everything is made or done with a worldview undergirding it. The “skeleton” of the film will be extracted and examined so that we know what it is made of here. SPOILERS GALORE.

Moving on, we will actually take a look at what the movie was about, how that was presented, and all of the things that go along with that. What was it about? There will be spoilers here as well. This portion of the post will largely flow from the worldview analysis.

Finally, we will end with what a Christian should do after viewing this movie. What does all of this mean to me? This will wrap up everything and, hopefully, confer some wisdom to you, my readers. Please pray for me as I endeavor to do this blog successfully. Also, I have blogged every day for an ENTIRE WEEK! Congratulations are in order, I believe.

But, as Columbo once said, “There’s just one more thing.” Fridays will be intentionally late night posts. Expect them between 10 PM and 12 AM. This will be because it is movie night. Soli Deo Gloria.
